Fashion Photography Workshop with Illya Ovchar

Illya Ovchar is a young, internationally active fashion photographer, working between Paris, Milan, and Munich, regularly creating content for magazines and agencies. His work is characterized by elegance, clarity, and bold visual thinking. He is holding a workshop in Budapest at MM Studio for the second time.

During the workshop, you will not only get to know Illya’s style but also learn how to create real fashion and beauty images in practice. We will explore what makes a photo “fashion,” the difference between fashion and beauty photography, and how to build your own professional portfolio.

The day will cover composition, color theory, storytelling, set building, and teamwork. Lighting will also be part of the program, but the main focus is on creative thinking and practical skills.

This workshop is for photographers who are no longer looking for the basics, but want to level up in fashion photography.

It’s for those who want to understand how a real fashion editorial is built—from the first concept all the way to the final images and who want to see and truly grasp how an internationally working fashion photographer thinks while creating a complete story.

If visual storytelling, the rhythm of a series, intentional communication with the model, and precise use of light matter to you and you’re inspired by the world of high-end, clean, editorial fashion photography—then this workshop is for you.

The early bird participation fee for the workshop is HUF 165,100 / person

Manna Serdian is an international model working across Europe. She appears in fashion editorials, campaigns, and runway presentations, collaborating with photographers and brands across different markets.

Viktoriia Vensky

Viktoriia Vensky has been in the fashion industry for over 10 years. Starting off as a model, she has now transitioned into styling and most recently has become an art director and marketing professional. Viktoriia has worked with publications such as Numéro and Vogue UA.
