  1. Minors under the age of 18 are only allowed to stay on the MM Studio premises with parental supervision or a parental consent statement.
  2. Studio work is hazardous! Cables on the floor are a tripping hazard, light stands can fall over, light fixtures can become very hot, and electrical devices can cause electric shocks. Technical equipment may only be handled by individuals experienced in studio technology, with the permission of the studio assistant/studio manager.
  3. Holker and paper backgrounds should only be stepped on with clean shoes or without shoes. Do not step on the backdrop as it can easily tear and become a safety hazard.
  4. Care must be taken to preserve the furniture and maintain cleanliness. Participants are kindly asked to remove dirty shoes before entering the studio, in the foyer or the dressing room.
  5. Food and drink are not allowed on the studio premises. For this purpose, the kitchen, corridor, and balcony located in the common area of the building may be used.
  6. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony located in the common area of the building.
  7. If photo shoots are happening simultaneously, please refrain from disturbing others with loud noises.
  8. In common areas (balcony, kitchen, studio hallway), incomplete attire is not allowed.
  9. The instructions of the studio assistant/studio manager must always be followed!
  10. Each participant may use the studio at their own risk.
  11. Any irregularity of malfunction must be immediately reported to the studio assistant or studio manager.

THE HOUSE RULES OF MM STUDIO APPLY TO ALL PERSONS STAYING IN THE STUDIO!

Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

MM Studio is open every day by prior appointment, either online or by phone.

Booking:

Studio booking can be made on the website www.mmstudio.hu/foglalas or https://mmstudio.booked4.us/public/ by accepting the current general terms and conditions and the privacy policy, at least 24 hours before the desired time. The booking is valid from the moment of confirmation, which is sent by email.

Bookings can be cancelled/modified free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the reservation. If the cancellation/modification is made between 48-24 hours, 50% of the booking fee will be charged. Cancellations/modifications made within 24 hours will incur a charge of 100% of the booking fee.

The rental conditions will be modified as follows from October 15 to December 31 / February 1-14 / two weeks before Easter:

Holidays (Christmas, Easter, and also Valentine’s Day) are considered peak periods for studio bookings. Therefore, during these periods, conditions may differ from those specified in these general terms and conditions, depending on necessity and at the discretion of the lessor.

For bookings made before the specified holidays, the studio rental can be cancelled or modified free of charge up to 168 hours (7 days) before the start. For cancellations/modifications made between 168-48 hours, 50% of the booking fee will be charged. For cancellations/modifications made within 48 hours, 100% of the booking fee will be invoiced.

When making a reservation, you are required to provide your name, phone number, and email address. This information will not be transferred but will be used by the Studio for the identification of renters, as well as for any potential claims related to compensation/payment/other matters. The data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years. The legal basis for data processing is your consent, which you can provide by accepting the privacy policy.

During the booking process, you can choose to subscribe to the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. When subscribing to the newsletter, your email address and name will be recorded. We will inform you about our current promotions or any changes to our rental conditions and operations through the newsletter. The data processing notice regarding newsletter subscription is included in the privacy policy.

Your email address will only be used for sending newsletters, in accordance with your consent. The legal basis for the use of your data is based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (your consent).

Payment Terms:

We reserve the right to change the prices listed on the website, considering that circumstances may change between the time of booking and the duration of service delivery. Additional costs may arise due to extra requests or price adjustments may be necessary due to rapid price changes.

The full duration of the booking will always be invoiced, even if the reserved time is not fully utilized. If the studio is available outside of the booked time, and you stay longer, every commenced hour will be charged.

The rental fee for the studio, the services used, extra services, and equipment, based on the current price list in the studio, must be paid upon the departure of the entire team. Any additional costs (e.g., cleaning fees, costs resulting from damages) will be invoiced after the rental period ends.

Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer based on the invoice issued by the lessor in the studio, to the bank account specified on the invoice, within 8 days of the payment deadline.

In case of late payment of the invoice, the lessor is entitled to apply a late payment interest equivalent to 1.5 times the central bank base interest rate.

Arrival and Departure:

Studio rental applies to the pre-booked time period.

Upon arrival, the use of indoor shoes is mandatory for all participants from arrival to departure. Otherwise, a cleaning fee will be charged, the amount of which will be determined afterwards.

The technical preparations and setup required for the photo shoot must be done within the rental period.

If you decide during the studio rental period that you wish to extend your rental time without interruption, you must inform the person representing the studio, who will inform you of the additional costs. If you stay longer without prior notification, you will automatically be charged twice the hourly rental rate for each commenced hour. However, the maximum rental duration is always subject to the decision of the studio representative present.

If you fail to appear within 30 minutes of the scheduled start time of your pre-booked (and confirmed) appointment and do not notify the studio staff, the studio reserves the right to cancel the rental agreement. You may arrive at the studio no earlier than 15 minutes before the pre-booked time. Preparation time includes activities such as unloading, makeup, etc. The use of preparation time must be reserved when making the rental request.

Rental:

Upon arrival, you must immediately check the condition and functionality of the studio equipment for your own safety and report any issues to the studio representative present. In case of any malfunction of the equipment in the studio, you are not permitted to start repairing it yourself. If you attempt any repairs, you will be held financially responsible for any damages incurred during the repair attempt. Failure to report any defects will result in you being held accountable for unreported damages in accordance with the rules of the Civil Code, which the Studio will enforce against you.

Studio Rules:

You agree to leave the studio in the same condition (e.g., lighting setup, placement of used props, cleanliness) as it was when you received it. Failure to do so may result in additional charges and liability for any damages caused. Maintaining and ensuring order in the studio is the responsibility of the person renting the studio. The designated representative of the studio is responsible for inspections. Any damage caused on the studio premises must be compensated by the person responsible or their legal representative.

It is strictly prohibited to make loud noises or disturb other guests, staff, or residents in the studio or in the shared areas of the building (stairwell, courtyard, balcony).

The studio building, equipment, and facilities must be used appropriately, and fire and safety regulations must be followed!

Permission must be obtained for lighting fires or using fire effects.

The use of open flames and pyrotechnic devices is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!

For safety reasons, no electrical devices other than those provided by the studio may be operated on the premises.

Smoking is permitted only on the balcony located in the shared area of the building.

You are required to promptly hand over any found items to the studio representative present. The studio assumes no responsibility for personal valuables (e.g., jewellery) brought onto the premises. Unattended items, as well as belongings left behind after your departure, will be kept by the studio for a maximum of 30 days.

Any accidents or other extraordinary events must be reported immediately to the studio manager.

By entering the studio, you accept full responsibility for any accidents that may occur. The studio manager cannot be held liable.

Any complaints, grievances, or suggestions from you or your guests will be handled by the responsible staff member of the studio operator.

You are obligated to comply with these terms and conditions, as well as the studio house rules, both for yourself and your guests. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in the operator terminating your session and cancelling all related services before the agreed-upon time expires.

The studio operator uses surveillance cameras on the premises for personal and property protection. The cameras do not monitor or record the dressing room, makeup area, restroom, or lounge. The operator ensures the protection of personal rights for tenants and any individuals entering the studio in their interest.   • the camera surveillance is used exclusively for the protection of human life, physical safety, and property. The collection of footage is carried out solely for these defined purposes,
  • the operator does not process the recordings in ways incompatible with these stated objectives.

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6(f) of the GDPR: “processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party.”

The following individuals may be excluded from the studio:

  • anyone who has committed a crime or caused intentional damage during a previous rental.
  • anyone who endangers their own or others’ physical safety and disturbs the peace of other guests.
  • anyone who has failed to comply with the House Rules.

 

The House Rules were approved by the representative of MM Studio, as the operator, and are effective from May 1, 2024!
